Roosevelt Foundation Mission Statement “The Roosevelt High School Foundation/Alumni Association is organized for educational purposes in order to advance, support, and assist in the development and growth of the students and faculty at Roosevelt HighSchool.” The Roosevelt High School Foundation, formed in 1983, currently has 24 volunteer board members. The Foundation helps to provide learning and educational opportunities to Roosevelt students and teachers. Funds received are allocated by the Board for various educational programs and capital improvements. In the last year, The Roosevelt High School Foundation has provided funds or support to the following:
- The Roosevelt Hall of Fame to honor distinguished alumni which serves as an inspiration to today's students
- Powell grants for students to attend programs outside of Roosevelt that further their education experience
- Powell grants for teachers to attend conferences to further their teaching skills
- Reunion support by providing revolving funds for class reunions to facilitate class mailings and secure a meeting facility
- Principal's Discretionary funds, including funds for Master Classes presented by a visiting jazz musician.
- Reunion support by providing alumni reunion tours of the school
- Alumni relations including development and maintainence of a website and alumni newsletter, "The Rough Rider Recall"
- Funding for three new $1000 student scholarships
- Capital Campaign support including a $25,000 pledge to Roosevelt's Renovation Campaign
- Sponsorship of the $500 Outstanding Teacher Award in recognition of exceptional teaching
- $1,000 grant to Senior Party 2007, Roosevelt's substance-free, graduation celebration
