Hello, Roosevelt High School friends, family, supporters, and community members.
I hope all of you are staying safe and healthy during these unprecedented times. As we are all well aware, what is happening right now in our world is unlike anything any of us have ever experienced. No one could have predicted what the COVID-19 pandemic would do to our personal and professional lives, and we still can’t predict with certainty when we will recover.
In light of our current social and economic circumstances, and with everyone’s health, safety and well-being top of mind, we have an announcement regarding the Rider Cup golf tournament, the TRHS Foundation’s largest and longest-running annual fundraiser. We are postponing the event, originally scheduled for May 15, and we are moving it back to the start of next school year -- it will now be held on Friday, August 28, 2020 at Waveland Golf Course.
All golfer registrations, hole sponsorships and supporter donations remain valid for the rescheduled date of August 28, 2020. We appreciate the early support from those of you who already signed up to play in our tournament or have contributed to our cause. Your support of the Rider Cup means so much to the TRHS Foundation.
Rider Cuppers, we will see you in late August. Until then, please keep your families safe and healthy. Be well.
