Juniors Matthew Crist and Jack Olson led the Roosevelt swim team to the state meet, held in Iowa City on February 15. Crist qualified in the 200- and 500-yard freestyle events and Olson in the 100-yard backstroke.
The Riders also sent three relays to state: the 200-yard medley relay, 200-yard freestyle relay, and 400-yard freestyle. In addition to Crist and Olson, the Rider team included senior Mason DeLange, juniors Jack Joyce and Ezra Odole, sophomore Ryan Huang, and freshman Carson Lane.
